Elizabeth Olsen

KimElizabeth Chase Olsen (born February 16 1989) is an American actress from the United States. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She began acting when she was just four years old. In the year 2011, Olsen starred in Martha Marcy May Marlene, her first film role. The film was critically acclaimed for her performance and was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards. Silent House was her next film part. Olsen received a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination and was a graduate of New York University two years after. Olsen was recognized worldwide for her portrayal as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise and was featured in the superhero films Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), along with the miniseries WandaVision (2021). Her performance in WandaVision earned her nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.Outside of her involvement with Marvel, Olsen starred in the monster film Godzilla (2014), the film with a mystery theme Wind River (2017), and the dramatic drama Ingrid Goes West (2017). She was director and executive producer of Sorry for Your Loss (2018), receiving a Critics Choice Television Award nomination for portraying the role of widow.
