Amal Clooney
Amal Alamuddin was born Beirut. The name she was given was the Arabic name'ml amal, meaning "hope". The family of her parents left Lebanon when she was just two years old, during the Lebanese Civil War, and settled in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze who comes from Baakline which is a village located situated in the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din Dynasty. He received an MBA at the American University of Beirut. In 1991, he came back to Lebanon when the Civil War ended. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was editor of foreign affairs for al-Hayat which is a Saudi-owned paper. The newspaper was founded by her International Communication Experts. The company, a part of a bigger business, is specialized in booking celebrities photographer, publicity, promotions for events, etc. (17) Amal has three siblings including one sibling (Tala) along with two brothers from her father's marriage to his first wife. Amal studied at Dr Challoner's high school located in Little Chalfont Buckinghamshire before going to the university. In the following years, she was a student at St Hugh's College at Oxford and, among others was awarded the Shrigley Award and an exhibition award. She graduated with the degree of BA degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Judiciary (BA) in 2000. [citation needed] In the next year, she enrolled in the New York University School of Law to study for an Master of Laws (LL.M) degree. The Jack J. Katz Memorial Award was awarded for her exceptional performance in entertainment.
