
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her first role was in the film Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. She then appeared in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). Sigman was a prominent character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both shows. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico as the daughter of an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. She is an American citizen by virtue of her father. The brother of her, baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was formerly married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career appearing on Mexican television, before making her film debut in Rio de Oro. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. [6] The Mexican entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film was chosen at the 84th Academy Awards.
