Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director, producer, playwright and educator in St. Thomas University. Her father comes from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mother's her job. While still a small girl, she appeared in a variety of commercials. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in the year 2009. Anna, who had converted to Judaism by then, and Seth Cooperman were married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having an Jewish ceremony.
