Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991 is a Canadian actress who is famous for playing Felicity Smoak on The CW television series Arrow. Rickards was raised and born in British Columbia. From a young age, she started to pursue her passion for acting by performing in musical theater. Her high school graduation was before her schedule and began studying at Vancouver Film School where she was awarded the Acting Essentials Certificate. When she had completed the course, she went to an audition that was open and she was signed. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. Initially signed as a single-episode guest on the show, her relationship with the show's main character Stephen Amell coupled with positive response from the fans and her humorous quips resulted in her being first signed to be a regular co-star for the remainder of the initial season, and then as a regular character during the second season.
