R&B voice who is known for her version of Prince's I Feel for You. I Feel for You by Rufus is thought to be a major success. She is also the main vocalist of Rufus. Khan was Catholic. She attended the Hyde Park Saint Thomas the Apostle Church Primary School. In 1969 she left the Panthers and left high school after having been to Calumet High School and Kenwood High School (now Kenwood Academy). In the Chicago area, she began singing in small groups. Her first group was the Cash McCall's Lyfe together with Hassan Khan. Chaka was married to Hassan in 1970.
