Chaka Khan.....................Chaka Khan is one of the most popular and richest R&B Singer who was born on March 23 1953 in Chicago Illinois United States. R&B voice who is known for her version of Prince's I Feel for You. I Feel for You by Rufus is thought to be a major success. She is also the main vocalist of Rufus. Khan was Catholic. She attended the Hyde Park Saint Thomas the Apostle Church Primary School. She said that her grandmother who was the first to introduce her jazz music as a small kid, was the reason for her passion for music. Khan started listening to rhythm and blues while at the age of preteens. At the age of 11years old, Khan began a group along together with Taka, which is also one of Khan's sisters. In 1969 she left the Panthers and left high school after having been to Calumet High School and Kenwood High School (now Kenwood Academy). In the Chicago area, she began singing in small groups. Her first group was the Cash McCall's Lyfe together with Hassan Khan. Chaka was married to Hassan in 1970.
